Zion Royal Theatre

Torchlighting the Nations

Incorporated with the established laws of Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), May 26, 2022, Zion Royal Theatre (ZRT) is a subsidiary of Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama situated in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, West Africa.

Since incorporation, ZRT has had several stage productions. In 2023, she embarked on tour across major Southwestern Nigerian universities inclusive of Redeemer’s University, University of Ibadan, Corner Stone University, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Obafemi Awolowo University and others. Within the jurisdiction of its parent entity, ZRT manages SIWES students from other Universities, stage productions and is home to several technical departments such as Dance, Music, Costume, Light, Percussion, Set & Props, then the theatre management sector such as Public Relations, Business & Finance, Welfare and Secretariat.

Intellectual Community

Our thematic core is premised across all discourse that hovers on the academic communities as evinced in the latest escapades of our campus outreaches. Further, are open to bringing our creative performances on the stage of higher institutions within and beyond Nigeria.

Faith-Based Entities

We have staged life-changing performances in denominational convergence. Our itinerary covers religious establishments, organisations and institutions. Given our vision, if the audience is ready to receive our message, we are open to unravel the art.

Festivals & Carnivals

Art is universal. Its ubiquitous nature is undeniably evident in lifestyles, culture and norms. The epicentre of our preoccupational themes nucleus on arts exhibition events such as festivals and carnivals in which we are open to grace an invite on conditional terms.

Community Theatre

The Alarinjo theatre was classic revolution in the historical development of indigenous total performance in Nigeria. We are keen on engaging communities.

Professional Jurisdiction

Associational events where people of distinct and varied expertise meet to interact and exchange experiences can also benefit from our performances. We are open.
