Bridging Classroom Learning with Professional Practice

The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is designed to provide students with practical industry experience that complements classroom learning. Through approved placements, students develop professional competencies, gain exposure to workplace practices, and strengthen the skills required for careers in theatre, film, media, and other creative industries.

At Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama (MZI), SIWES forms an important part of academic training by enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world professional environments while building discipline, teamwork, leadership, and technical expertise.
